I got out the In Colors, Pear Pizzaz, Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade to make these cards. I used the markers on the stamp from Sale-A-Bration called Punch Bunch. I also used on the green card the new Pear Pizzaz seam binding to make a bow and on the other card below these, I used it to make the ruffle. I hope you like them!
This was fun to make, very springy! I used my 2 way glue pen to outline the flower and added Dazzling Diamonds to sparkle it up!

A SPECIAL CARD FOR A SPECIAL LADY
My friend is a cowgirl at heart, but lives this exciting life of traveling around the world with her husband in their boat. So for her birthday I wanted to make her a special card for her cowgirl side!
This card base is made with 12" x5 1/2" cardstock. It's easy peasy to cut and fold, but the difficult part is figuring out how to design it!
I used retired Stampin' Up! sets called "Wanted" and "Bareback" as well as retired DP Paper called "Wanted". I have a secret stash of it for "special" cards!
This is the middle part of the card upclose so you can see the details. You can get the "running" effect of the horses by stamping off.
This is the far right side upclose as well. For the long strip of paisley on the right, I stamped on Really Rust (retired) then ran it through the crimper over and over to get a leather type texture. I think it looks pretty darn good.
I enjoyed playing with the hemp twine too!!!
Please leave me a post! I'd love to hear from you.
