SAMPLES FROM SUMMER MINI CATALOG

I tried my hand at making some cards using the stamps from the Summer Mini Catalog.

This set is called Elements of Style. GOREGOUS HUH?? Take a look at page 12 at what Stampin' Up! did. I started with basically the same colors but took off in a completely different direction than they did. I used the ink pads and the aqua painter to get the water color look. I really LOVE IT!

Stamp Set: Elements of Style (#120045 clear)
Cardstock: Whisper White (#100730), More Mustard (#100946), Mellow Moss (#102898)
Ink: Creamy Caramel (#103220), Mellow Moss (#102774)
Accessories: Aqua Painter (#103954), Sponges (#101610)

Next is another sample from the Summer Mini on Page 12. I couldn't figure out how to get the top note layered then I decided to cut where the perforation is and voila! It worked! Then I sponged the edges then curled them with my nail.

Picture at an angle so you can see the ribbon.

Up close shot of the metal tag and bird.
